Active members of the West Virginia National Guard can receive up to $10,000 per fiscal year in state tuition assistance toward tuition and allowable fees at any college or university. State tuition assistance can be used on top of federal tuition assistance, the GI Bill, and Pell Grants. Members who are eligible for federal tuition assistance must use that first before applying state funds.
Restrictions
Application deadlines: May 1 for fall semester, November 1 for spring semester. Non-traditional and summer session deadlines are 60 days before the start date. Apply at apps.wv.gov/WVEEP.
