The American Red Cross provides 24/7 verified family-emergency messaging to deployed and TDY service members worldwide. ARC verifies the emergency (birth, death, critical illness, natural disaster) with the family's local hospital or authority, then sends a verified message through the command chain that triggers emergency leave consideration.

Restrictions

Call 1-877-272-7337 (1-877-2REDCROSS) any time, any day. Family member initiates the request from home; ARC verifies the emergency with the local hospital / mortuary / authority; ARC sends to the service member's command via verified pipeline.
