The Washington Department of Veterans Affairs runs two state-funded transitional housing facilities, in Port Orchard and Orting, that provide homeless or at-risk veterans with a safe place to live while they access job training, career support, and permanent housing placement.
Restrictions
Entry requires a referral from the federal VA Medical Center Homeless Liaison Officer at (253) 583-2825. In FY25, the program served 177 veterans and permanently housed 142. Both facilities are state-operated by WDVA.
