The Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) offers eligible Texas veterans and military members a competitive fixed-rate home loan up to $832,750 with little or no down payment. Veterans with a VA service-connected disability rating of 30 percent or greater get a discounted interest rate.
Restrictions
Home must be veteran's primary residence in Texas. Loan terms of 15, 20, 25, or 30 years. VLB does not refinance. Eligible service: 90+ active duty days (or any length if discharged due to service-connected disability), Texas National Guard members, reserve members with 20 qualifying retirement years, and surviving spouses of MIA/KIA veterans. Can be used more than once.
