Alaska veterans can get a one-time 20% discount on the purchase price of state-owned residential or recreational land. Parcels must be five acres or less, classified as settlement land, and zoned residential. The discount can only be used once in a lifetime and cannot be stacked with the Veterans Land Sale Preference.
