North Dakota has appropriated $500,000 through the Veterans Postwar Trust Fund specifically to prevent and eliminate veteran homelessness in the state. Veterans Service Organizations can also donate to this fund. The ND Department of Veterans Affairs administers the program and can provide direct housing stability support to at-risk veterans.
Restrictions
SB 2025 and HB 1504 passed the 2025 ND session. $500,000 in state general funds appropriated to the PWTF. Contact the ND DVA or a local VSO to access these funds if facing homelessness or housing instability.
