Details

Oregon is one of only three states in the nation that offers its own veteran home loan program, entirely separate from the federal VA loan. The Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs (ODVA) has lent approximately $10 billion in low-interest fixed-rate home loans to more than 340,000 veterans since 1945. Eligible veterans can use the benefit up to four times in their lifetime to purchase owner-occupied single-family homes up to $806,500.

Restrictions

Separate from federal VA Home Loan Guaranty. Veterans must establish eligibility directly with ODVA. Program uses fixed-rate financing (30- or 20-year). Property must be in Oregon.
