Nevada's state housing program for veterans, National Guard members, surviving spouses, and active duty service members provides down payment and closing cost assistance (up to 5% of the loan amount) paired with a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage. This is a state-administered program through the Nevada Housing Division.
Restrictions
Program administered by Nevada Housing Division (homeispossiblenv.org). Must occupy as primary residence and complete an approved homebuyer education course. One-time program fee of $755 at closing. Not the federal VA home loan guarantee, this is Nevada state money.
