The Hawaii National Guard runs a state-funded tuition reimbursement program for Guard members pursuing an undergraduate degree at any University of Hawaii System campus. The program covers 100% of tuition for qualifying courses, paid as a reimbursement after the class is completed with a grade of C- or higher.

Restrictions

Eligibility: grades E1, E9, W1, W5, or O1, O3; enrolled as undergraduate student in UH System; must remain a satisfactory participant in their unit. Funded from state appropriations, funds may be exhausted before all applicants are paid in a given semester. Air National Guard members apply through a separate portal: https://dod.hawaii.gov/hiang/stap/
