The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority's HomeAccess program offers a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage to first-time buyers and qualified veterans who are living with a permanent disability or are the parent or guardian of a dependent with a permanent disability. An optional $25,000 second mortgage for down payment and closing cost assistance is also available. Income and purchase price limits apply.
Restrictions
Minimum borrower contribution of $750 (lower than standard CHFA programs). Minimum FICO score 620. Must use a CHFA-participating lender. Program page: chfainfo.com. Veterans are treated as first-time buyers for CHFA FirstStep/FirstStep Plus programs.
