Active Arizona National Guard members in good standing may attend public universities and community colleges in Arizona tuition-free for up to 16 credit hours per semester (120 total for a bachelor's degree; 33 for a master's degree). This benefit requires that free monies (donations/grants) offset the cost, it is not a cash payment to the school.
Restrictions
Contingent on availability of offset funds; does not use the school's basic operating budget. Members who fail a tuition-free course pay for those credits in full. Members deployed during enrollment may resume the benefit after discharge.
