Wisconsin operates three veterans homes (King, Union Grove, and Chippewa Falls) providing 24-hour skilled nursing care for veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star Parents. There is no Wisconsin state residency requirement to apply.
Restrictions
Priority order: veterans first, then spouses, then surviving spouses, then Gold Star Parents. No Wisconsin state residency requirement (in- and out-of-state applicants welcome). Veterans with a 70%+ service-connected disability or needing care for a service-connected condition may have federal VA pay most or all of the daily rate.
