Washington state funds a network of licensed counselors across the state who provide free, confidential counseling to veterans and their family members. This is a state-funded program separate from federal VA mental health services.

Restrictions

As of the latest statistics listed on the page, 875 veterans and 132 family members have received counseling, totaling 10,662+ hours statewide. Find a counselor at dva.wa.gov/counseling/find-a-counselor. Also email DVACounselingProgram@dva.wa.gov.
