New Mexico resident veterans who were awarded a Vietnam Campaign Medal for service in Vietnam between August 5, 1964 and the official end of the conflict may receive full tuition coverage at any state-funded post-secondary school, plus reimbursement for books and fees. For non-state institutions, reimbursement is capped at the highest in-state resident tuition rate.
Restrictions
Must have been a New Mexico resident at original enlistment OR lived in NM 10+ years. Billing goes directly to the NM Higher Education Department. Application: DVS7_ApplicationforVietnamVeteranScholarship form on dvs.nm.gov.
