South Dakota's Department of Labor and Regulation provides priority employment services to veterans who have a significant barrier to employment. These services go beyond standard job search help and include individualized assistance to help veterans find and keep jobs.

Restrictions

To qualify for priority services, veterans must have served on federal active duty, received a discharge other than dishonorable, have a significant barrier to employment, and have served more than 180 days. Contact South Dakota's American Job Centers (operated by DLR) for assistance.
