Ohio law requires all state agencies running federally funded employment and training programs to give veterans priority over non-veterans when referring people to job openings and training programs. Disabled veterans get the highest priority, followed by Vietnam-era veterans, then other disabled veterans, then all other veterans.

Restrictions

Applies to all programs under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Covered programs include Ohio Means Jobs centers.
