Vermont National Guard members who take loans under the Vermont National Guard Tuition Benefit Program can have their loans partially or fully forgiven based on continued service in the Guard after completing their degree or certificate. The longer the service, the more of the loan is forgiven.
Restrictions
Must remain an active member of the Vermont Army or Air National Guard in good standing. Federal tuition benefits (including federal tuition assistance) must be exhausted first before VNGTBP applies.
