Utah operates four state-funded veteran nursing homes providing long-term care in Ivins, Ogden, Payson, and Salt Lake City. All honorably discharged veterans are eligible, with wartime veterans receiving admission preference. Spouses and surviving spouses may also qualify. Veterans with 70% or greater service-connected disability may receive care at no cost.
