New York State provides up to $450 per year to undergraduate students whose parent served during a wartime period and, because of that service, died, suffered a 40% or greater disability rating, was classified as missing in action, or was held as a prisoner of war. The veteran must have been a New York State resident.

Restrictions

Administered by HESC. Up to $450/year for undergraduate study. Parent must be NY resident or have been at time of death/MIA status.
