Service members on federal active duty for 120 days or more during an officially designated war, emergency, or military contingency may be exempt from renewal fees and continuing education or competency requirements for their Colorado professional or occupational license. More than 50 licensed professions regulated by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies are covered.

Restrictions

Submit official orders or documentation to dora_dpo_licensing@state.co.us. Veterans (honorably discharged) may also reinstate expired licenses under CRS §12-20-202 without some standard reinstatement requirements.
