Veterans receive priority over non-veterans for job placement, counseling, testing, referrals to support services, job development, and job training at New Mexico's America's Job Centers. Dedicated Local Veteran Employment Representatives (LVERs) and Disabled Veteran Outreach Program specialists (DVOPs) serve veterans statewide.
Restrictions
LVERs focus on employer outreach and job fairs. DVOPs provide intensive services with priority to service-connected disabled veterans. Find local offices at dws.state.nm.us. Annual Veterans' Employment Resource Guide published; 2025 edition available on the site.
