Every honorably discharged veteran in Oklahoma who registers with the Office of Veterans Placement is guaranteed an interview for any qualifying Oklahoma state executive branch job they apply to, as long as they meet the minimum qualifications. This is separate from the preference-points system and is an absolute guarantee of at least one interview.
Restrictions
Created by HB 1146 (Civil Service and Human Capital Modernization Act). Does not require Oklahoma residency. DD-214 required. Multiple uses allowed. Does not apply to internal agency actions (promotions, transfers, reinstatements).
