Oklahoma operates seven state Veterans Homes providing full-time skilled nursing and long-term care for eligible veterans. Veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 70% or higher can live completely free of charge. All medications are provided free to all residents. There is no "spend-down" requirement. Homes are located in Ardmore, Claremore, Clinton, Lawton, Norman, Sallisaw, and Sulphur.
Restrictions
Must have served at least 90 days on active duty and received an other-than-dishonorable discharge. Medical need must be documented. Disabled veterans receive priority admission. Contact admissions at 405-523-4092.
