Details

Disabled veterans receive the highest preference tier. Only the single highest qualifying preference applies, they do not stack.

Restrictions

Governed by NRS 284.260. Preference is applied during the state recruitment and hiring process. Surviving spouses of veterans (not just those killed in line of duty) also qualify at a lower preference tier.
