Michigan operates three state-run veteran homes offering skilled nursing care, memory care, rehabilitation, and long-term care in a home-like setting specifically designed for veterans. The homes are located in Grand Rapids, Chesterfield Township (southeast Michigan near Detroit), and Marquette (Upper Peninsula). Eligible family members may also reside at these facilities.
