National Guard members can transfer up to 130 semester hours of tuition and fee waivers to their dependents (spouse or children) at Massachusetts public colleges. Dependents must use their allotment within 10 years of the member's separation from service or by age 26, whichever comes later.

Restrictions

Governed by M.G.L. ch. 33, s.137A. The 130-hour pool is shared between the member and any transferred hours to dependents.
