Louisiana certifies veteran-owned and service-connected disabled-veteran-owned small businesses through the Louisiana Veterans Initiative (LaVetBiz) program. Certified businesses get preference in state government purchasing and contracting, and are listed in a state-maintained directory used by state agencies and prime contractors seeking veteran-owned suppliers.
Restrictions
Apply through LED SmallBiz portal (ledsmallbiz.com). Requires annual renewal. Both veteran-owned (VOB) and service-connected disabled-veteran-owned (SDVOB) categories available. Provides access to state procurement set-asides and supplier diversity programs.
