Iowa Army and Air National Guard members can receive an annual scholarship to attend eligible Iowa colleges, universities, and community colleges. The award for the 2024-25 school year is up to $9,034 (or actual tuition, whichever is lower). The scholarship can be combined with federal tuition assistance and the GI Bill.
Restrictions
Must be an Iowa resident and active Guard member each term. Cap of 120 semester credit hours (130 for approved STEM majors). Apply through the Iowa Financial Aid Application (IFAA) and FAFSA. Fall priority deadline is July 1.
