Colorado veterans who received an honorable discharge and establish Colorado as their permanent residence by the first day of the semester qualify for in-state tuition at Colorado public colleges and universities, regardless of how long they've lived in the state. The benefit also extends to their spouse and dependent children (unmarried undergraduates under 23) if the veteran established Colorado domicile.
Restrictions
The GI Promise form plus DD214 (Member 4) and proof of Colorado domicile are required. Active duty service members stationed in Colorado and their dependents also qualify and do not lose eligibility if the member retires and remains in Colorado.
