Active duty service members, their spouses and dependents, and veterans who establish Rhode Island residency are entitled to in-state tuition at URI, CCRI, and Rhode Island College immediately, even if they haven't yet met the standard one-year residency requirement. Those using transferred GI Bill benefits or the Fry Scholarship who live in RI also qualify.
Restrictions
