Veterans, their spouses, and their children do not have to wait to establish in-state residency before qualifying for resident tuition rates at any New Mexico state college, university, vocational school, or training program. This applies when using the GI Bill education benefit and takes effect immediately.
Restrictions
Applies to GI Bill users. Eliminates the waiting period for residency status that non-military students must serve.
