Illinois honorably discharged veterans who are Illinois residents can get full tuition and mandatory fees paid at any Illinois state-supported college, university, or community college. You need at least one full year of active-duty service and must return to Illinois within six months of discharge. One application establishes eligibility, you keep the benefit as long as you remain enrolled.
Restrictions
Administered by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). Apply through IDVA VSO offices or college financial aid offices.
