Children and spouses of Idaho military members killed or permanently and totally disabled (unemployable) in the line of duty can receive a full waiver of Idaho college tuition and fees, up to $750 per semester for books, and on-campus housing and subsistence assistance through the state's Armed Forces and Public Safety Officer Dependent Scholarship.

Restrictions

Administered through Next Steps Idaho and the Idaho State Board of Education. Applicants must be Idaho residents. Apply via Scholarship Idaho at nextsteps.idaho.gov. Applications open early October each year.
