Maryland offers a scholarship covering tuition and educational expenses at any Maryland college or university for eligible veterans and their family members. Veterans who have a 25%+ service-connected disability and have exhausted their federal education benefits qualify, as do children and spouses of armed forces members who died or are 100% disabled as a direct result of service.

Contact MHEC Office of Student Financial Assistance at 410-767-3300 or osfa.md.gov. Must attend a Maryland institution. Award amount varies; covers tuition and educational expenses.
