When a veteran walks into any New York State employment center, they are served first by the next available staff member and given top priority for any job or training program they qualify for. This priority is guaranteed by both federal law and New York State's Veterans Bill of Rights for Employment Services.

Restrictions

Includes career assessment, resume help, job referrals, and access to all DOL training programs. Eligible spouses of veterans also receive priority service. Call 1-888-4-NYSDOL or visit any NY State Career Center.
