CDL Training via GI Bill — Dole Act Expansion (2026)
Under the Dole Act, the VA has expanded approval of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training programs to count for GI Bill education benefits. CDL programs that were previously excluded (because they ran shorter than the VA's old minimum hours) are now approvable, opening a fast 3-8 week career path entirely paid by GI Bill.

CDL drivers in 2026 are earning $60,000–$120,000+ (long-haul + bonuses). Pair with VR&E (Chapter 31) if you have a service-connected rating.
