California has committed $50 million to a statewide mental health initiative (CVHI) specifically for veterans and their families, funding prevention, early intervention, peer support, outpatient clinical care, and crisis services. Unlike VA programs, CVHI services are open to veterans regardless of discharge status, disability rating, or period of service.
Restrictions
Services delivered through community grantee organizations statewide. Contact your local County Veterans Service Office (CVSO) to find CVHI-funded providers in your area. No federal enrollment required.
