Details
Under A.R.S. § 38-492, the State of Arizona gives hiring preference to qualified veterans and disabled veterans applying for external state government positions. Veterans submit a DD-214; disabled veterans also submit a VA disability determination letter. The preference applies at the point of selection, not just application.
