Arizona law (A.R.S. § 32-4303) allows veterans, National Guard members, and reservists to apply their military education, training, and experience toward the requirements for a state professional license, certificate, or registration. A licensing board must accept the military equivalent if it completely or partially meets the civilian requirement.

Statute: A.R.S. § 32-4303. Applies to all state professional licensing entities. Veterans seeking contractor licenses can also contact the Registrar of Contractors at roc.az.gov/service-members-and-veterans.
