Alabama operates four state-funded veterans homes that provide skilled nursing, assisted living, and long-term care to eligible veterans at rates well below private facilities. Homes are located in Bay Minette, Huntsville, Oxford, and Pell City, collectively serving over 700 veterans.
Restrictions
Eligibility requires honorable discharge and Alabama residency. Per diem costs are offset by federal VA per diem payments for qualifying veterans. Contact ADVA at 334-242-5077 for admission information.
