Details

Wyoming resident veterans with a 50% or more service-connected disability rating can get one set of Disabled Veteran specialty license plates at no charge, exempt from registration fees. The plates can be used on a passenger car, pickup truck, motorcycle, or multipurpose vehicle. Branch-specific service-connected plates are also available under the same program.

Restrictions

A second plate (for motorcycle or MPV only) requires payment of standard registration fees. These plates do NOT authorize handicap parking, a separate placard is needed for that. Apply at your County Treasurer's office. Contact WYDOT Motor Vehicle Services at 307-777-4709 or mvsplates@wyo.gov.
