Washington state residents with a service-connected disability rating of at least 30% can get a free lifetime pass to all Washington state parks. The pass covers free camping, boat launch, trailer dump, watercraft launch, campsite reservations, and day-use entry.
Restrictions
As of October 2025, veterans must pay a reservation fee when booking a campsite, but camping itself remains free. Must be a Washington state resident for at least three months. Apply online or by mail to passes@parks.wa.gov. Statute: RCW 79A.05.065.
