Any veteran discharged under conditions other than dishonorable can have a "Veteran" designation printed on their Hawaii driver's license, state ID, or instruction permit. Available at any county DMV office at no added fee during a regular renewal, or for a standard duplicate fee outside of renewal.

Restrictions

Requires DD-214 (Member 4), NGB Form 22, or a VA or OVS verification letter. OVS can certify copies of DD-214 for this purpose.
