Any honorably discharged Arizona veteran can add an official "VETERAN" designation to their Arizona driver's license, commercial driver's license (CDL), identification card, or learner's permit. The designation appears on the front of the card and serves as proof of veteran status for many discounts and programs.
Restrictions
Bring a DD-214 (or equivalent discharge document) to any MVD or Third Party Driver License location. A duplicate license fee applies. CDL holders may also request a skills test waiver if they meet certain requirements.
