Veterans who operated a commercial vehicle equivalent in the military within the past two years can have the skills test portion of their Vermont commercial driver's license (CDL) exam waived. Applies to veterans who were exempt from the CDL requirement to drive military vehicles on state roads.

Restrictions

Must have held a military position requiring operation of a commercial-vehicle equivalent within 2 years prior to leaving military service.
