Mississippi veterans with a 100% permanent service-connected disability (or a 100% individual unemployability rating evaluated as permanent and total) can purchase up to two passenger vehicle or pickup truck license plates for just $1 each per year. The same $1 rate applies to one motorcycle plate.
Restrictions
The unremarried surviving spouse of such a veteran also qualifies while they remain unmarried. The veteran must be a legal Mississippi resident. Standard tags are purchased through the county tax collector's office.
