Details

Honorably discharged veterans get free entry to all Texas state parks through the Veterans Parklands Passport. Disabled veterans with a 60 percent or greater service-connected disability (or loss of lower extremity) get free entry plus one free companion.

Restrictions

Two separate passports: Veterans Passport (honorable discharge, pass holder only) and Disabled Veterans Passport (60%+ disability or loss of lower extremity, pass holder plus one companion free). Obtain at any state park in person. Present a DD-214, VA-issued veteran ID card, or state driver's license with veteran designation.
