Nevada veterans can be buried at no charge at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. The benefit includes the plot, opening and closing of the grave, a concrete vault, a government headstone or marker, and perpetual care. Spouses and eligible dependents may also be buried there for a $450 fee.
Restrictions
Pre-registration available online with discharge documents. If the veteran has already passed, families should call the cemetery directly rather than use the online form. Contact: (702) 486-5920. This is a state cemetery, separate from federal VA national cemeteries.
