Veterans with a service-connected 100% permanent and total disability rating, or who are double amputees or paraplegics due to service, receive a property tax credit of at least $700 (municipalities may raise it to $4,000). The unremarried surviving spouse of a qualifying veteran is also eligible.
Restrictions
Standard $700 credit; municipalities may vote up to $4,000. Must be NH resident for at least one year preceding April 1 of the claim year.
