Details

North Dakota resident disabled veterans with at least a 50% service-connected disability pay only $3 for a combined general game, habitat stamp, small game, and fur-bearer hunting license (the standard price is $62 for the full combination). A separate veteran combined hunting license at $10 (covering general game, habitat, small game, and fur-bearer) is available to veterans with a 100% service-related disability. Active duty North Dakota residents on leave can fish without any license.

Restrictions

HB 1147 (2025) lowered the eligibility threshold for the $3 combined license from 100% to 50% disability. The $10 veteran combined hunting license requires 100% service-related disability. Active duty ND residents on leave from active duty may fish with no license.
